Following the massive success of our first online group, we have decided to run further online events in conjunction with the in-person event we have traditionally held. Our plan is to run a 5-day residential event in July, with 3-day online events spread through the year. However, the current COVID-19 crisis makes it unrealistic for us to organise in-person events. As a result, all our events will be online for the foreseeable future.

The dates for the next four events will be:

  • Friday 22 – Sunday 24 January 2021 (online)
  • Friday 23 – Sunday 25 April 2021 (online)
  • Friday 9 July – Sunday 11 July 2021 (online)
  • Friday 15 – Sunday 17 October 2021 (online)

We intend to resume in-person events as soon as it is safe and practical for us to do so.

Where and When

The next online event will run from 7 PM on Friday 22 January 2021 to 5 PM to Sunday 24 January 2021.

The online sessions will be

  • 10 am to 12 noon
  • 2 pm to 5 pm
  • 7 pm to 10 pm

We might add or revise times to fit different time zones, as appropriate. The published times are in GMT (UCT).

We will be running the meetings using Zoom. The joining instructions will be sent by email, along with the joining link, a day or so before the event starts.

Getting There

We will send meeting details to everyone who books well in advance of the start time. All the meetings will be password protected, and we will be using the ‘waiting room’ facility to control access. These measures will prevent anyone from entering the meetings unexpectedly. We will not record any of the sessions.

We are limiting numbers to 49 delegates. The software allows the formation of break-out rooms, so there is the facility for a smaller group experience should people required it.

Costs and Booking

All our events are not-for-profit with any surplus going to provide bursaries for future events.

We would ask for a donation of £5 per person per session for online to cover the costs. Any surplus money will be used to fund bursaries for future events. Therefore, if you can make a larger contribution, we would be very grateful. If you are unable to afford the suggested donation, or anything at all, please book anyway. We want this event to be as accessible as possible, so have not imposed a minimum contribution level.
